Announcement:
Wayne State
College Service-Learning Program announces the availability of funding for
faculty sub grants to support the integration of service-learning in their
courses. Faculty grants are worth up to $500 each with an in-kind match.
These funds
are made available through an institutional sub grant from the Midwest
Consortium for Service-Learning in Higher Education (MCSLHE) as part of a grant
from the Corporation for National Service under the Learn and Serve America:
Higher Education grant program. Monies may be used for travel, supplies,
materials, receptions, student aides, etc. Restrictions may apply. See Federal
Learn & Serve website for details or contact S-L @ WSC (375-7030).
Sub grants
will be awarded based on recommendations from WSC’s Faculty Advisory
Committee. Faculty who receive grants
will be required to submit a final report with evaluation/student reflections
and federally required demographic information.
