Dinosaur Web Quest

Everyone will research and write a short essay on a dinosaur. After the essays are completed, then you may choose one project to complete. The supplies that you need will be here at school, unless you want to make a diorama or model. You may want to bring paper towel rolls, cereal boxes, yogurt containers, etc.


The Task
Write a short essay about your dinosaur.  Use the Internet, books, encyclopedias, and other materials as resources.  Complete a project of your choice.

The Process

Listed below are the steps that you will need to take in order to complete your assignment.

   1.Get the worksheet Dinosaur Facts.
   2.Write the name of your dinosaur in the blank next to Name.
   3.Read books and the encyclopedia to find more information about your dinosaur.
   4.Use the Internet sites listed below to find even more information.
   5.Write your answers on your Dinosaur Facts worksheet.
   6.Use the answers that you wrote on your worksheet to write your short essay.

   7.Write your essay in your neatest handwriting.
   8.Choose a dinosaur project.
   9.Share your dinosaur project with the class.
