Using the Internet to Teach Library Skills
Library Skills for the 21st Century Rationale:
The future is upon us. The Information Age is here. Reading, writing and arithmetic are essential basic skills. There is a fourth basic skill--information literacy. Students must learn how to learn. Students must have the ability to locate and use information. Teachers, library media specialists, and administrators must understand information literacy before they can successfully support the concept. This workshop focuses on the skills necessary to successfully solve information problems.
