Just as
with andro, I am apprehensive about recommending use of creatine to anyone.
However, the IOC, NCAA, and NFL don’t feel the same way, as they have not
banned the use of creatine as they have andro and anabolic steroids.
I guess it is just too premature to make any definite decisions on the
use of creatine by athletes.
Although conclusive
tests on the long-term effects of creatine are not currently known, I think
that creatine is a safer alternative to andro and anabolic steroids.
The side effects are not even close to the severity that andro and steroids
can cause. I do think it is important to remember though that there
may be serious side affects associated with creatine, so athletes should
be cautioned about the possible dangers of creatine.
