Personal Information
Introducing my wife Cindy and our son, Matthew (I am the one with the receding hairline).  Cindy and I grew up in Newman Grove, NE (population ~750).  We were married in July of 1994 and have spent portions of our married life in Lincoln, NE, Raliegh, N.C., and now live in Wakefield, NE.

In addition to my family, friends and career, I enjoy golfing (hence the photo on the right above).  If you know me and my abilities you would likely come to the conclusion that you do NOT have to be good at something to enjoy it. I find golf to be a unique combination of sheer relaxation and frustration (if that's possible) all entwined in a knot.

When we are not in Wayne or Wakefield, you will likely find us visiting our folks (Grandpa and Grandma Mindrup or Christensen) in Newman Grove. We consider ourselves lucky in the fact that we do not have to argue about who's place to go to on the holidays as our folks live a mere 6 minutes apart.  This is also a great way to prevent "in-law burn-out" as we can simply hop in the car and disappear to the opposing families home for a while.

Cindy is a professional landscape designer and works for a company in Wayne while Matthew has a full time job of keeping his folks on their toes.

If your thinking about attending college at Wayne State and you have any questions or concerns just e-mail me at dchriste@wscgate.wsc.edu or call (402) 375-7345.
