Lists & Horizontal Lines
Lists
You can bullet or number lists on a web page.
Wayne State College is:
friendly
down-to-earth
safe
-
Highlight the list portion
-
Click the Bullet List button on the toolbar:

The text should now appear as:
Wayne State College is:
-
friendly
-
down-to-earth
-
safe
-
Notes:
-
Numbers or Bullets will disappear if you click the button again
-
You can indent the bullets (and paragraphs) using the
button.
-
Numbers on lists will only show when browsed.
-
If you want a different type of list than bulleted or numbered, choose
the Format menu; select Lists.
Horizontal Lines
Horizontal lines are used to divide web pages into sections.
To make a horizontal line:

Position the mouse cursor where you want the line; click the left mouse
key
-
Click the Horizontal Line button on the toolbar:

-
A line should appear:
If the properties of the line need to be changed:
-
Highlight the line
-
Choose the Insert menu
-
Select Horizontal Rule
-
A dialogue box will appear:

-
Fill in the height or thickness you want, the width and the alignment.
