This class introduces students to career and life planning concepts and how to apply these to their own lives. Research shows that students who are more crystallized in their career path are more focused in their academic endeavors. While learning career and life planning concepts and theories, students participate in experiential activities to assist them in their own career planning process. When taking this course, students assess their interests, skills, personality style, and work and personal values; search a variety of college and career options; and are guided through a decision making process. Learning these skills prepares students for success in the changing world of work and enables them to take hold of their future - which begins at Wayne State College!
