Geographic Educators of Nebraska (GEON)

We are an alliance of educators and other persons dedicated to raising the level of geographic literacy in our state.  Our grassroots network collaborates with the National Geographic Society, reaches out to public school administrators and state/national legislators, and promotes teacher education programs and workshops year round.

Anyone may join GEON.  We encourage teachers (especially pre-service) from any field or any level to become a member.
