7:30 pm – Arrive and and check-in at Holiday Inn Express in Earth City, MO at Exit #231A off I-70 at Riverport Drive (314-298-3400).

 8:00 pm – Depart for dinner at nearby fast-food restaurants (optional).

 Saturday, September 11

   6:30 am – Breakfast begins in the lobby (included with your room cost: eat hearty). 

   7:30 am – Depart for the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (the Old Courthouse, the Arch, the Mississippi River). 

 11:30 am – Lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant at 727 North First Street (314-621-0276) in the old town. 

 12:45 – Depart lunch.

  1:00 – Arrive at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis for a personal tour of the restored architecture and artworks.

  1:45 – Depart St. Louis Basilica.

  2:30 – Arrive Cohokia Mounds State Park in Illinois (1000 years ago, this was the largest city in North America).  Interpretive Center and mound hiking.

  4:30 – Depart Cahokia Mounds.  

  5:30 pm – Arrive back at Holiday Inn Express.

  6:00 pm – Depart for Old St. Charles (2 miles from our motel) for dinner on your own and a walk around the Riverfront.

  8:00 pm – Depart from Old St. Charles back to our hotel for a good night's rest.

 Sunday, September 12

  6:30 am – Breakfast begins in the lobby (included with your room cost: eat hearty again!). 

  7:30 am – Depart Earth City, MO by school vans. 

  5:30 pm – Arrive back at WSC Garage.
