7:30 pm – Arrive at Best Western Motel in Duluth at 131 West 2nd Street (218-727-6851) and check-in.

 8:00 pm – Dinner and evening entertainment on your own at Canal Park (six block walk from our motel) or other nearby restaurants.

 Saturday, September 12

  7:30 am – Depart for the Duluth Harbor/Aerial Lift Bridge. 

   8:30 am – Depart for the North Shore. 

   9:30 am – Brunch at the Rustic Lodge Restaurant (218-834-2488) in Two Harbors. 

 10:30 am – Arrive Gooseberry Falls State Park. 
            Students may visit Nature Center, the Falls, and hike down to Lake Superior shore.

 12:30 – Depart Gooseberry Falls

 12:45 – Arrive Split Rock Lighthouse Historical Site (218-226-6372) for movie and tour of the world famous light.

  2:00 – Depart Split Rock Lighthouse

  3:00 – Arrive Tettegouche State Park.  Hike up to Shovel Point overlook, or walk down to a Lake Superior rock beach.  Or both!

  5:00 – Dinner in Beaver Bay at the Lemon Wolf Cafe (218-226-7225).  

  7:30 pm – Arrive back at Best Western Motel.

  8:00 pm – Optional: Skyline Drive and Enger Tower or more Canal Park fun on your own.

 Sunday, September 13

  8:00 am – Depart Duluth by school vans. 

  9:00 am – Breakfast at Tobies' Restaurant in Hinckley, MN (best baked goods anywhere!)

 Noonish – Arrive at Mall of America in Twin Cities.  Students may wander and shop the largest mall in the U.S.

  2:00 pm – Depart for home by school van. 

  8:30 pm – Arrive back at WSC Garage.
