Friday, September 30

8:00 am – Departure by school vans.  (Meet at WSC Garage opposite Wayne Clinic on 14th St.)

3:00 pm – Arrive at Kansas Speedway in Kansas for tour ($7 adults, $3 students).

5:30 pm – Cross border, arrive in Kansas City, MO and check into Comfort Inn Downtown at 770 Admiral Blvd.

7:00 pm – Dinner and entertainment on your own.


Saturday, October 1

8:45 am – Eat continental breakfast at motel, then depart for museums. 

9:00 am – Tour American Jazz Museum and Negro Leagues Baseball Museum ($8 combo).

11:30 am – Lunch at Arthur Bryant’s BBQ located at 1727 Brooklyn Ave (approx. $12 complete meal).

12:30 pm –Depart for Independence, MO.

1:30 pm – Arrive at Truman Museum & Library ($7 per person).

3:30 pm – Arrive at Liberty Museum ($5) and Union Station.

5:00 pm – Shop for souvenirs at the Crown Center Complex.

7:00 pm – Dinner and entertainment on your own.


Sunday, October 2

8:00 am – Eat continental breakfast at motel, then depart for Wayne, NE. 

2:00 pm – Arrive back at WSC Garage.
