- After reading chapter seven of the text and
visiting the following web sites, DISCUSS what you believe are the top five
reasons you believe that you should begin (or why you are currently) participating
in a strength training program. Everyone's discussion should be individualized
to match their lifestyle. Also include your personal justification
for your top five choices.

Next, DESIGN an individualized weight training
program that works all of
the major muscle groups. The program should utilize what you have available
(i.e. therabands, soup cans, machines, free weights, etc…) and be matched
to meet your goals. Remember that as a WSC student you all have access
to the weight room in the Rec center as well as the free weight room in the
basement of Rice Auditorium. Within your program describe the intensity,
