COURSE OBJECTIVES
The goal of this course is to provide graduate students
in Exercise Physiology the opportunity to investigate applications of exercise
testing, prescription, tolerance and benefits for people with a variety
of clinical co-morbidities as well as for the normal aging adult. Students
will read and discuss current literature and present seminars related to
the objectives. Seminar slides and relevant links will be posted on this
website . Students will develop a resource portfolio for future reference.
We will schedule several on-site observations coordinated with Mercy Hospital
in Sioux City and the Wayne State College Adult Fitness program.
