This artifact produces a meaningful measure of candidates’ ability to inquire and reflect well. In addition, it represents a useful look at the candidate’s content knowledge and written communication skills. Advanced candidate file papers have been kept for many years. Only recently have they been systematically stored for use in program assessment.
