Fri, 1 Feb 2008 11:30:00 GMT http://academic.wsc.edu/conn_library/about/news/080114/ The Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center has transformed Bill and Jan Moeller's book Crazy Horse: A Photographic Biography into a traveling exhibition that is visiting Wayne State College. The Moellers wrote in their book of the need they felt to "see" the landscape that they were reading about in Mari Sandoz's Crazy Horse: Strange Man of the Oglalas. They began a journey to photograph the lands where he lived, hunted, and fought. By visually exploring the locations Crazy Horse lived and traveled, the viewer will be able to form a portrait of Crazy Horse as he related to his environment. The exhibition will be available for public viewing in the Wayne State College Library's Great Plains room until February 29. This expanding source contains translations for works in Latin, Italian, German, and French. Users can easily search by composer, poet, title, opera aria, or Latin text. When the work is identified, click on "download this file" for a printable copy of the translations.
