South Entrance, Road Closure

The south entrance is open, and will be the only library entrance for 9 months. The road between Peterson and the Library will be closed at some point next week for construction equipment.

Main Entrance Closed, Storm Damage

The main entrance is closed, the south entrance has been delayed. Please use the northwest entrance until further notice. Patrons in wheelchairs who wish to use library services should call the circulation desk (402-375-7258) to make special arrangements. We apologize for the inconvenience. The library weathered the storm on June 30th, a few trees fell around the building.

WiFi, Construction Updates

The main entrance is back open for now and we have a wheelchair ramp. The South Entrance is delayed for at least a week. The library has also been changed over to the new wireless network. wsc-secure has become WSC-Secure and WSC_Guest became WSC-Guest. Documentation on how to sign on is linked in the title of this news item. If you have issues getting on the new wireless network please contact the computing help desk.

Main Entrance Closing

Demolition work on the Wayne State College Conn Library has progressed to the point where we will need to temporarily close the main entrance. However, dirt work around the new south ramp/entrance is not yet completed. Therefore, beginning Wednesday, June 4, the public will be able to access the library from the maintenance door in the northwest corner of the library. We anticipate that this entrance will be used for the duration of this week. Patrons in wheelchairs who wish to use library services should call the circulation desk (402-375-7258) to make special arrangements. We apologize for the inconvenience, wheelchair access should be restored soon.
