Master
of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a professional graduate
degree designed primarily to provide an intense educational experience
for students who desire to assume positions of increasing responsibility
in business.
The Wayne State College MBA curriculum consists of two major components.
The first component is described as "Common
Body of Knowledge" (CBK) courses. This group of courses
includes an introductory level course in each functional area of
business. Students who have an undergraduate degree in business
will typically have completed most, if not all, of these courses.
The second curriculum component is the professional
graduate courses.
The Wayne State College MBA Program requires 30
professional graduate credit hours. The MBA is broad in nature
and requires students to complete a structured program of one or
more courses in each area of business and also permits students
to complete a specialization in one area. It is designed for those
who wish to further their professional development without terminating
their employment.
